St Albans Bridge
Griffiths is pleased to have been appointed by Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council as the Principal Contractor to construct the new St Albans Bridge as part of the South East Highways Wales Framework.
The project will see the replacement of the existing bridge deck, west abutment and alteration works to the east abutment and piers.
The project will enhance both vehicular and pedestrian links between Blaenrhondda Road and St Albans Road, improving the local environment and supporting local businesses and residents by improving connectivity in the area.
The bridge has been designed by our designers, Tony Gee & Partners to resist vehicle impact loadings and improve safety for road users. The structure has been designed for a minimum life span of 120 years.
