Want to find out more about the project?

There’s a drop-in event on Thursday 7 October where you can meet the project team members from Somerset County Council and Griffiths.

This is a chance to ask us about exactly what’s happening, how we are delivering the scheme and what the junction will look like once it’s finished.

There will be detailed plans and drawings and team members you can talk to individually.

We must stress this session is purely about the Creech Castle project design, construction and delivery, including traffic management on Toneway and along the closed section of the A38. We will not be covering other projects or traffic control measures in Monkton Heathfield or other areas across Taunton at this session.

The event takes place at the BACH on Thursday 7 October from 3pm to 7.30pm.

*You may have noticed a slight change in traffic management on Toneway this week – it remains one lane heading out of Taunton and two heading in, the change is to allow access to the next phase of work.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST NOT attend if you or anyone in your household has had COVID-19 symptoms in the 7 days prior to this event, and that if you develop symptoms within 7 days of visiting the premises you MUST use the Test, Track and Trace system to alert others with whom you have been in contact. Contact details will be requested on entry.

Due to the Covid Government Restrictions, the planned Pre-Construction Drop-In sessions had to be scrapped. We shall instead be hosting quarterly Drop-Ins showing progress at The Brittons Ash Community Hall (BACH) commencing October. Further details will follow here and on subsequent Newsletters, please subscribe (see Project Bulletins).
